Lok Adalat Visit, 2025- Greater Noida College of Law has conducted

Lok Adalat Visit, 2025- Greater Noida College of Law has conducted a Visit to National Lok Adalat at Surajpur District Court, Gautam Buddh Nagar on 08th March, 2025. All students assembled at court premises by 10:30 a.m. Students were informed about importance of Lok Adalat. Students were given a chance to gain practical knowledge of legal proceedings at Lok Adalat. Students got to know the procedure of Lok Adalat to resolve pending cases of challans, Bank default Loans, Cases related to motor vehicles, etc. This visit helped students to know how can they deal with the client and how can they solve their client's problems through Lok Adalat in the future. Students also had conversations with clients, police officers and court staff present there. Students got the chance to interact with the Hon’ble Judges and Counsels, learned about their roles and the procedures of the lok adalat. Students also gain benefits of Alternate Dispute Resolution including cost effectiveness and accessibility and appreciated the role of lok adalat in delivering access to justice, especially for marginalized and under privileged sections of the society.


Supreme Court Of India Visit, 2025- Greater Noida College of Law has organized

Supreme Court Of India Visit, 2025- Greater Noida College of Law has organized a two-days academic visit for the students of B.A.LL.B., B.COM.LL.B. & LL.B. to the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, New Delhi on 28th & 29th March, 2025. It was a great opportunity for the students to gain inside access to the grand interiors of the Supreme Court building and admire the majestic structure of the court in its full glory. The visit was organized to aware the students of the day to day functioning of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. Furthermore, the students occasioned a guided tour to the Supreme Court premises and witnessed the Courtroom of the Chief Justice of India, the Judges’ Library and National Judicial Museum and Archive to understand the importance of various statues and other infrastructure highlights in the Supreme Court Complex. In this guided tour students were enlighted with the key moments of history of the judiciary. The main aim behind arranging this academic visit was to boost the confidence of students by helping them attain Supreme Court-relevant knowledge, which would come to their aid in blooming into successful lawyers in future.

Guest Lecture on "How to prepare for Moot Court"

Greater Noida College of Law has organised a Guest Lecture on "How to prepare for Moot Court" on 10th March 2025 at Seminar Hall 6B, G.N. Group of Institutes for law students. Mr. Mayank Jain who is a practicing advocate at Delhi High Court was the speaker of this event. He was an ex-researcher at Delhi Courts and co founder of TLJ Law Partners. He interacted with students and shared his wisdom on mooting skills. He explained the importance and benefits of moot court. He gave insights on how to research on a moot proposition. He talked about various methods of research and framing of issues of a moot proposition. Further he explained various methods to relate facts, laws and issues altogether. Overall it was an interactive and knowledgable sessions. At the end, Dr. Arun Kumar Singh, Dean GNCL and Dr. Shalu Tyagi, HOD GNCL felicitated our speaker by presenting a momento.

Won best memorial in innovative national moot court competition


Intra Moot Court Competition, 2024 - Greater Noida College of Law organized

Intra Moot Court Competition, 2024 on 18th March, 2024 - 20th March, 2024. Total 12 teams participated in preliminary round of this competition out which 8 teams qualified for quarter final round and 2 teams qualified for final round. Various practicing advocates and academicians came to judge different rounds of competition. The Judges of the Competition Adv. Neha Malik (AOR, Supreme Court) and Adv. Bandana Grover (Executive Member, Delhi High Court Bar association) were felicitated by the hon’ble Chairman Sir. Winners of the competition were students of B.COM.LL.B. Batch 2022 Pratiksha Kumari, Arti Bhati, Shivani and Runners up were students of LL.B. 2023 Batch. Manasvi, Rahul, Nidhi. Best Mooter- Nitesh, Best Researcher- Kunal, Best memorial- Satyam, Ankit, Md Asgar were some other prizes given to students.
